A cyber-attack targeting automotive giant Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) in August 2025 has been identified as the most costly cyber incident ever to hit the United Kingdom. The CMC’s report, published on October 22, indicates that the fallout from the attack was widespread, affecting more than 5,000 UK organizations. The analysis suggests the “vast majority of the financial impact” stemmed from the catastrophic loss of manufacturing output at JLR and throughout its multi-tier supply chain. Sources indicate that the incident led to a complete IT shutdown, forcing a halt in global manufacturing operations. This included JLR’s major UK plants in Solihull, Halewood, and Wolverhampton, where production lines were reportedly silent for several weeks.

The report states that the disruption extended far beyond JLR’s factory walls. Downstream organizations, including car dealerships, faced significant challenges as their systems became intermittently unavailable. Furthermore, suppliers throughout the chain were hit with cancelled or delayed orders, creating long-lasting uncertainty about future business volumes. Analysts suggest the total cost “could be higher if operational technology has been significantly impacted or there are unexpected delays in bringing production back to pre-event levels.”

  142. Today, I went to the beachfront with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to
    my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She placed the shell to
    her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
    She never wants to go back! LoL I know this is completely

    or copyright infringement? My website has a lot of unique content I’ve either
    created myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my agreement.
